Sago Basket. A nice cultural piece. Well used woven basket with bush twine handles. The women of the Sepik use these for carrying shredded sago to the river to be prepared, as well as to carry yams and other food stuffs. I have seen them fill them with mayflies netted out of the river during the once a year hatch. Mayflies are a fine source of protein. It is roughly 20 by 10 inches and 8.5 inches deep.
It sells for $90 plus $25 shipping for a total of $115
