Crocodile Bone Thatching Awl - Pointed sticks and bones were, and still are, used to “sew” thatching on the roofs and sides of the houses on the Sepik. The other end certainly could have been used as a spoon as well. This nice old bone was collected on the May River far up on the upper Sepik. It is pre-1950. 9.5 inches long.
