A nice old mask with good color and incised carving from the lower Ramu River. This mask comes from the collection of Isabel and Jack Pert who lived in the Madang area in the 1960’s and 1970’s. This one dates to the 1960’s or before. It is 16.25 inches tall. It is very nicely carved with a thick patina over the old paint and still retains its bite stick.
